Ever wonder where Disney gets some of it's fresh fish and vegetables for their restaurants, or where the Disney World trains and monorails go at night for service, then you will want to check out these tours and more:
5. Wilderness Back Trail Adventure: Looking to take in some of the natural beauty that surrounds Disney's Parks, we highly recommend this tour at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Using a Segway, you will go on a 2 hour circuit that takes you around Disney's Wilderness Lodge, the stables of Tri-Circle-D Ranch and Bay Lake. This is a great opportunity to take pictures and experience the beauty of Disney.
4. Backstage Safari: Fan of the Zoo and Disney's Animal Kingdom, then you need to add this 3 hour tour to your list of Disney Must Do's. This is a great experience if you have any interest in animals, as you will get to explore the nutrition center, the animal-housing area, and the veterinary hospital.
3. Behind the Seeds Tour: Located in the Land pavilion of Future World at EPCOT, this tour takes you backstage and lets you in on the amazing farms and gardens that Disney cast members work with each and every day. Even if you are not a big gardener or don't have much of a green thumb, just to learn a little about the technology that Disney has created to produce some of it's own fish, fruits and vegetables is worth the tour. You will want to run home and start your own garden after this tour.
2. Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour: This is a must do for any fan of Walt Disney and Walt Disny World. It's a shame that so many people miss out on the details of the Magic Kingdom that are revealed to you in this tour. The Disney Imagineers put incredible detail into the Magic Kingdom, everything from messages in the windows on main street to the color and patterns of the walkways beneath us in each themed land. You will look at Disney properties in a whole new light after taking this tour!
1. Disney's The Magic Behind Our Steam Trains Tour: It's our number one tour because it's about more than Disney's trains, it is an insight into Walt Disney, his love of trains and the early days of Disney World and Disneyland. We were excited to take this tour just because we always loved the trains and monorail at Disney. It was not until we took the tour that we realized how much about Walt Disney and his company we would learn about in a couple of hours. This tour is for early risers, but it was a very unique experience to be the first ones to the park in the morning and witness it all wake up before the guests arrive. Definitely a part of Disney World every Disney fan should experience atleast once.
